Join us for an evening of Brazilian music with the quintet of Brazilian drummer Mateus do Carmo. The band presents a wide repertoire from the rich musical culture of Brazil, from samba and forró to Afro-Bahian rhythms.
The quintet made up of Julia Schmidt, who studied classical flute at the Guildhall school of music in London, local Cologne musicians Julian Drach on saxophone and Philip Weyand on piano and bassist Jan Dittmann from Mannheim promises a very interesting and contagious set of music.
